Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Japan

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, in other words, Bamboo Forest or Sagano Bamboo Forest is a natural bamboo forest in Kyoto, Japan. In the forest, you will see that it mostly consists of bamboos and there are some pathways among them where visitors can walk. The bamboo forest which lies on an area of 16 square kilometers, is located in the northwest of the Kyoto near the Tenryū-ji Temple of Japan. The weather is quite unpredictable in the forest. The summers are usually short, and the winters are cold and windy.
