Taveuni, Fiji

After Vanua Levu and Viti Levu, Taveuni is the third largest island in Fiji. Covering an area of 343 square kilometers, the island is actually a massive volcano, which is located on 6.5 kilometers east of Vanua Levu. In 2015, it is stated that the island had a population of 19.000 people, 75% of them are indigenous Fijians. The Taveuni island has its own flora, as a result, it is also known as the Garden Island of Fiji. Its amazing waterfalls, diving opportunities and abundant bird life make the island a popular tourist attraction as well as a very exotic place which is worth a visit.
