The Cité des Sciences is the biggest science museum in Europe, and it is located in Parc de la Villette in Paris. The museum is visited by approximately five million people annually. As the main purpose of the museum is to promote science and technology among the public, the visitors can visit the planetarium, an IMAX theatre and a submarine as well as other special areas where children can learn about science in a fun way.
