About The Little Museum of Dublin

The Little Museum of Dublin is a civic museum and dedicated to the people in Dublin. The museum records the history of Dublin in the 20th century. All of its collection of 5,000 artefacts were donated directly by the people who were born and raised in Dublin. Thanks to these donations, the museum can highlight the history and the lifestyle of the city and people who live in Dublin. The museum which is located in an 18th century building that is owned by Dublin City Council was opened to public in 2011. Only a year later, it was nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award.
